Here are updated NFL ratings. I tried a method (not least squares) that lessens the weight of outliers. The Titans’ titanic win over the Eagles lifted them ahead of the Steelers. AFC still rocks with the top 8 teams. The poor Chargers are a solid team but continually snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Maybe it would take the emphasis off the other numbers, but it sure would be easier to read these things if you put a ranking number before each team, so I don’t have to count down manually to see where, say, the Seahawks rank. Thanks. Interesting to see that all 4 teams in the NFL west are in the bottom half of the list, though.

Does anyone else find it odd that the defending SB champs are so bad this year? They’ve had some injuries, but so has Indy.
